Avoiding The Sandbox Effect with Scrapebox

This method is probably the easiest one to execute, it is however the slowest one to
show any effects. Here, we are assuming that your “money” site is brand new and you
haven’t done any backlinking yet. If time is of no concern to you, you might want to give
this one a try.

We will be using Scrapebox to build some direct links to your resource. First though,
consider scraping some .edu/.gov links (see Appendix section fin the Master Guide for the cheatsheet) to
establish some kind of authority. Once you have harvested some .edu/.gov links (harvest
no more than 40-50) during the first month, use them to leave a couple of comments
pointing back to your resource (do not forget to mix it all up. Refer to the previous
section to find out how). It is best to execute this manually. Which means, you will be
actually copy-pasting each .edu/.gov link into your browser, navigating to the comment
section and typing out a comment and hitting the submit button. Leave no more than 5-
10 comments a week and do not use the “RSS export” method, described previously.
Let Google find the backlinks organically.

Refer to the cheatsheet (available in the Scrapebox Master Guide, find it here) to find out how you can harvest .edu/.gov blogs, forums (create
profiles and leave a backlink) and other .edu/.gov resources.

Authority links

While establishing some authority with those .edu/.gov links you can start submitting
some comments using Scrapebox. Harvest a new list of related niche blogs, sort them
by PR (Check Pagerank–>Get Domain Pagerank) and filter out the low PR domains.
Also make sure to remove duplicate domains and links (Remove Duplicates). Now you
can start commenting. Leave no more than 20-40 comments a day during the first threefour
months.

Your site will begin to gain authority as well as climb in the SERPS, provided that you
follow this backlinking strategy (a mix of .edu./.gov links + high PR backlinks) and reduce
your footprint accordingly (see previous section).

Tip: Consider getting some nofollow as well as some low PR backlinks to further
diversify your footprint.
